COLUMBIA - Crews have installed most of the new turf at MU's Faurot Field. The new turf has several new features to highlight Mizzou football.

The new Tiger logo at mid field will be slightly bigger than the old one. The new diamonds in the end zones show "Mizzou," whereas the old one was "Missouri." The new turf also has two "SEC" logos embedded in the field.

The project costs about $1.5 million. This new turf is made with one million sand and rubber.

Most SEC football fields are natural grass.
