MU Physical Therapy Students Send Supplies to Joplin
COLUMBIA - MU physical therapy students have compiled household supplies and therapy items to help assist people who need help in Joplin. Students worked with the community and alumni for supplies such as hygiene products, baby items, food, clothing, household items, and therapy items like wheelchairs, commodes and crutches.
On Thursday they plan to pack a moving truck full of the supplies and send them to Community Support Services of Missouri, St John's Outpatient Services, and Ozark Center for Autism all located in Joplin.
The group plans to hual the goods down to Joplin Friday August 12th.
