Multiple shots fired in Columbia Saturday morning

COLUMBIA - Columbia Police Officers confirmed three separate shots fired incidents Saturday morning.

The first report was at 12:32 a.m. at Garth Avenue and Sexton Road, where officers found a bullet hole on a home's yard on Sexton Road. There were no reported injuries or other property damage.

Officers then reported to another location at 1:39 a.m. on Newton Drive. They found a house struck by multiple gunshots, but there were no reported injuries. The amount of damage to the house is unknown.

Almost an hour later, at 2:37 a.m., CPD responded to a shots fired call at Worley Street. Officers confirmed shots were fired and there were no injuries or property damage.

All three of the incidents are still open investigations.

At 2:39 a.m., Columbia officers and Boone County Sherriff's deputies heard gun shots near Clark Lane and Ballenger Lane. Officials weren't able to find a scene and didn't report any injuries or property damage. This incident was cleared with no report.

CPD detectives are investigating these reports to see if they are related.
