Petro-Mart armed robbery is third masked robbery this week

COLUMBIA - Police said Friday morning they've made no arrests in connection to an armed robbery at the Petro-Mart on Stadium Boulevard near the I-70 interchange. 

The report said the suspect entered through the back door of the Petro-Mart at 1004 Stadium Boulevard just before 3 a.m. Friday wearing a Halloween mask.

Police said the suspect demanded money from the clerk and ran away with some of the business' money.

There were no reported injuries.

This is the third armed robbery this week, and all three involved an armed suspect wearing a Halloween mask. According to police, a man wearing a Halloween mask robbed Patricia's IGA on North Keene Street just before 9 p.m. Tuesday, and another suspect in a Halloween mask demanded money from the front desk at La Quinta Inn & Suites on I-70 Drive around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Police haven't said whether or not the incidents are related.
