COLUMBIA - Columbia City Manager Mike Matthes confirmed Wednesday that Zim Schwartze has been removed from her position as the director of Columbia/Boone County Public Safety Joint Communications.

Matthes told KOMU the position was completely cut due to ongoing efforts to cut the budget.
