COLUMBIA - The Columbia Fire department responded to a small fire at a home on Hanover Boulevard around 6 p.m.

It's the second time the house has had a fire in recent years.

Chief James Weaver said no one was hurt or home during the fire. Owner, Jeff Colborn, was out of town but returned while crews were still on the scene.

The Fire Department said it responded to a passerby who saw smoke coming from the garage and called 911.

As of now, the fire marshal ruled the fire as undetermined with an estimated damage of 30,000 dollars.
