State treasurer at MU for financial aid discussion
COLUMBIA - With the price of college going up just about every year, Missouri State Treasurer Clint Zweifel is set to arrive at MU Thursday morning for a discussion about financial aid.
This comes as students across the country apply for financial aid for the next school year.
Zweifel's discussion comes just one week after the UM Board of Curators voted to increase tuition for in-state students by 0.8 percent.
Last week, a Board of Curators spokesperson told KOMU 8 News Missouri's average yearly tuition increase is lower than most other states in the Midwest.
Zweifel is also set to meet with financial administrators during his visit Thursday morning. It's set to start at Memorial Union at 10 a.m.
