COLUMBIA -- The Missouri Tigers landed another basketball recruit, this time from nearby Rock Bridge High School. Travis Jorgenson, who still has two years of high school left, committed to the Tigers today, despite questions about coach Frank Haith's future at Mizzou.

"If I wasn't really confident that Coach Haith and his coaching staff weren't gonna be there by the time I commit, I would not have committed," said Jorgenson, "I had a good talk with (Mizzou Athletic Director) Mr. Alden as well as Coach Haith and they just assured me that he was gonna be here and that they are getting it under control and I trust them."

As a sophomore, Jorgenson averaged 11 points and 6 assists per game.

Jorgenson, who Rivals.com ranks as the 101st best high school junior, also received offers from Boston College and Oklahoma State, among others.
