Transportation on Columbia City Council Agenda
COLUMBIA - The Columbia City Council will hear public comment about the future of transportation in the city Monday night.
Sam Robinson and Ian Thomas from PedNet are on the council agenda to present pubic input from two community conversations about transportation.
PedNet teamed up with First Ward Columbia City Councilperson Fred Schmidt and Sixth Ward Councilperson Barbara Hoppe.
The forums took place in February and March. Both forums focused on what Columbia Transit should look like in five years, what challenges there are in trying to reach that vision and what can be done done in the short term and long term to overcome the challenges.
The city council meeting starts at 7:00 p.m. Monday night. The full agenda is here.
