Warrensburg Prepares for President Obama

WARRENSBURG - White House officials and University of Central Missouri employees have been working overtime to make sure everything is ready for President Obama's visit on Wednesday.

University of Central Missouri President, Charles Ambrose, said White House secret service agents have been in town since July 17 and have been working to secure and close campus buildings.

University landscapers have also been working to make sure campus grounds are perfect.

"Today and tomorrow we're doing ten hour days, coming in at 5 a.m." landscaper Kevin Courtwright said.

President Obama will speak in the University recreation center Wednesday afternoon about the economy, jobs and his plans for making college more affordable for students.
