Pop-up thundershowers are again possible on Thursday afternoon, but most will remain dry until after midnight as showers will become possible ahead of a cold front. More scattered rain showers will be possible Friday morning before clearing up by Friday midday, leading to a mainly dry weekend forecast.
This cold front will begin passing through central Missouri early Friday morning and a noticeable change to the air will be felt as we go from hot/humid to cool/dry! Highs on Friday will only reach the middle 70s!
Temperatures will be much more fall-like over the weekend with Saturday morning temps in the low 50s, afternoon temps in the low 70s! Similar conditions are expected on Sunday with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
Rain appears possible once again next week with showers and storms Monday through Wednesday. Temperatures will stay near seasonal trends with highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s/60s.
