Clouds are back today and while pockets of drizzle and/or sprinkles pare possible, most will stay dry today as temps slowly rise into the upper 70s to near 80.
Tuesday will likely be the warmest day of the week with highs in the lower 80s. A few morning showers could be possible, but the bulk of the rain activity will hold off until after 2-3pm in the afternoon as a cold front moves closer into central Missouri. This front will help kick off scattered showers and thunderstorms Tuesday evening through Tuesday night. Temps will settle into the 40s/50s for overnight lows into Wednesday morning.
Skies will become increasingly sunny as cooler weather settles in for Wednesday. Highs are only expected to reach the upper 60s with lows in the lower 50s.
Sunshine becomes abundant for Thursday and Friday with highs returning to the lower to middle 70s.
Temperatures are trending warmer as we head into the weekend with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s.
