I've always had a passion for storytelling. When I was 6 years old, I would make movies with my toys and my mom's camcorder. Now, I have the privilege of telling the stories of Mid-Missouri.
I'm no stranger to Columbia. I was born at Boone Hospital to two Mizzou-grad parents, and I graduated from MU with a Bachelor of Journalism. I first started working at KOMU 8 when I was a college student... and I loved it so much, I decided to stay! You can join me on KOMU 8 News Today weekdays from 4:30 to 7 a.m. I also teach Broadcast 1 labs for MU's J-School!
When I'm not at work, I enjoy walking my dog, Ned, along Columbia's many trails and parks, reading some good fiction, and, above all, spending time with my wonderful wife, Sydnee.
I'm excited and thankful for the opportunity to bring you your morning news!
