Search warrant in Pulaski County nets over $60,000 worth of heroinPosted on 9 November 2019 at 4:05pm
COLUMBIA — Pulaski County deputies and the South Central Drug Task Force seized large amounts of heroin, methamphetamine and cash in a search Thursday.
The two agencies served a search warrant at the 100 block of Hickory Ridge Road, according to a news release from the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department. Deputies said they found 8.5 ounces of heroin, 30 oxycontin pills, 3.5 grams of methamphetamine and about 30 unknown pills, in addition to over $5,000 and drug paraphernalia.
Eddie Carter, of St. Robert, was arrested and charged with three counts of delivery of a controlled substance. His bond has been set at $100,000.
Deputies said the amount of heroin seized was enough for about 2,200 doses and had a street value of over $60,000. There was enough methamphetamine for around 980 doses.
