ST. LOUIS (AP) — An 18-year-old is jailed on $150,000 cash bond after being accused in St. Louis of shooting and wounding a man who was waiting to put children on a school bus earlier this month.

KMOV-TV reports that prosecutors on Wednesday have charged Michael Montgomery with four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, five counts of armed criminal action and one count of first-degree assault.

Authorities allege that Montgomery fired multiple times at a man who was waiting at a school bus stop with four children the morning of Oct. 2.

Police say the shooting victim survived and identified the suspect.

Online court records list Montgomery's hometown as being Jacksonville, Florida, and do not show whether Montgomery has an attorney.
