29-year-old man dies in wreck on U.S. 63 in Moberly
MOBERLY - A highway in Moberly was closed Friday morning after a one-car wreck left a man dead and three people injured.
According to Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 29-year-old driver of a Chevrolet Impala, Daniel R. Johnston, drove off the side of U.S. 63 one mile south of Moberly at 3:45 a.m. The car then struck a utility pole and overturned.
Johnston was pronounced dead by the Randolph County coroner at 6:34 a.m.
The three other passengers suffered minor to moderate injuries and were taken to University Hospital.
