3 Arrested on Meth Related Charges in Moniteau County

MONITEAU COUNTY - Tuesday evening the Moniteau County Sheriff's Office and California Police Department arrested 3 people on meth related charges.

On June 14th officers pulled over Nathan S. Belt and Heidi Fields and recovered 18 grams of methamphetamine and digital scales.

Officers then executed a search warrant of their house at 23516 Highway Drive. Officers recovered meth, drug paraphernalia consistent with the sale of the drug and items associated with the manufacture of the drug.

Also on Tuesday evening officers also arrested Donna Sue Belt, located at lot number 15 at 105 Wilkes Street in California.

Officers recovered surveillance equipment, drug paraphernalia, a felony amount of Marijuana and approximately 25 grams of Methamphetamine.

Nathan S. Belt and Heidi Fields were both charged with the class B felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent to Distribute and the class C felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Donna Sue Belt, age 46 was charged with the class B felony of Possession of a Controlled Substance With Intent To Distribute and the class C felonies of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Endangering The Welfare of a Child.

All three suspects are being held without bond at the Moniteau County Jail.
