Amber Alert Helped Recover Baby Abby
After hearing the Amber Alert, the abductor's sister-in-law recognized the baby's birthmark and turned the one-week-old child over to police.
"The more information you can get out to the largest variety of people is usually an asset, not a hindrance," said James McNabb, Columbia Public Safety administrator.
"It makes you think, you know, and it makes you appreciate what you got, no doubt," Toelke added.
