COLUMBIA- With only 17 days left until Christmas, mid-Missourians stopped by the MU Fine Arts building Saturday to get some holiday shopping done.

The annual holiday pottery sale was put on by MU's Clay Klub.

Shoppers were able to survey and purchase an array of handmade artwork and ceramics.

Prices for the art pieces ranged from $5 to $80.

The goal of the sale was to raise one thousand dollars for members of the MU ceramics department to travel to the National Council on Education for Ceramic Arts conference next year.

Organizers said about 100 people attended the sale this year.
