ST. LOUIS (AP) - Bids will be opened this morning as the state prepares to fix 60 bridges around Missouri that show signs of potentially dangerous wear and tear. The state reinspected 119 bridges after the partial collapse last weekend of the Delor Street overpass onto Interstate 55 in south St. Louis. One driver was hurt when her car struck the 25-ton piece of debris. Follow-up inspections by MoDOT found nearly four dozen bridges in danger of similar failure in the St. Louis area, along with some in the Kansas City and St. Joseph areas. Officials hope to have all repair work done by May 18th. (
