Blues bounce back against Golden Knights 4-2
ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues hosted the Vegas Golden Knights Thursday night as the Blues tried to bounce back from a three-game losing streak.
Mackenzie MacEachern would get the early lead for the Blues, but it wouldn't take long for Vegas to tie it as Max Pacioretty scored 25-seconds later and William Carrier scores later in the period to give the Golden Knights a 2-1 lead at the 1st intermission.
But those would be the only two Golden Knight goals of the match as Jordan Binnington shut them out the rest of the game.
Blues would get a boost in the 2nd period as Oskar Sundqvist knocked one in for the tie, Jaden Schwartz would slide one in to take back the lead for the Blues, and Robert Thomas would ice the game with the puck in the back of the net as Saint Louis beat Vegas 4-2.
The Blues improve to 19-8-6 on the season and will host the Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday night.
