Blues claim a rivalry thriller
ST. LOUIS- The Blues picked up their fifth straight win Tuesday night when they took on the Chicago Blackhawks at home in St. Louis.
The last time the two met, the Blues pulled out four goals in 13 minutes to triumph 4-3 and tonight seemed to tell an equally as wild narrative.
The Blues struck first within the first minute of the game with a goal in power play from Brayden Schenn. However, the Blackhawks would answer back with two more in the first period of the game.
The second period proved to be the least eventful of the night with the Blackhawks scoring their third goal of the evening and St. Louis' second off the stick of Robert Thomas.
However in the third period, the Blues outscored Chicago 4-2 as the lead changed back and forth between the two teams throughout the period.
St. Louis came out victorious 6-5 with goals from Ryan O'Reilly and Justin Faulk and two from Zach Sanford in the third period.
The Note will play again at home at Enterprise Center on Thursday at 7:00 P.M. against the New York Islanders.
