Blues take advantage in Stanley Cup Final
ST. LOUIS - The St. Louis Blues defeated the Boston Bruins Thursday night to take a three games to two lead in the Stanley Cup Final.
After a scoreless first period which saw Jordan Binnington making 17 saves, the Blues got on the board with a goal by Ryan O'Reilly early in the second period. David Perron scored the eventual game winner midway through the third period, as the Blues claimed the victory, 2-1.
O'Reilly's two points earn him first star of the game. He has four points, including three goals, over the last two games.
Game six is Sunday night in St. Louis, as the Blues look to hoist the Stanley Cup for the first time in franchise history.
