Body of missing Arkansas woman found in flooded Missouri
POPLAR BLUFF (AP) — Authorities have found the body of a missing Arkansas woman in southeast Missouri after she called 911 to report that she was trapped in a flooding car.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the body of 44-year-old Ginger Myers, of Concord, Arkansas, was found Friday. KFVS-TV reports that Butler County Sheriff Mark Dobbs said her family found her car submerged near a bridge. Myers' call for help had cut out Tuesday.
The area experienced significant flooding to farmland last week after torrential rains.
