Body of Missouri Woman Recovered from River
WAYNESVILLE, Mo. (AP) -- The body of a south-central Missouri woman who disappeared nearly two weeks ago has been recovered from a river along with her Jeep Wrangler.
Family members reported 54-year-old Deborah Cirrincione missing on April 28, after she left home in Dixon to shop in nearby St. Robert and failed to return.
KYTV reports that state troopers were sweeping the Gasconade River with electronic instruments Wednesday when they registered what appeared to be a vehicle on its side. Divers were brought in to help pull the Jeep and the body from the river.
The recovery took place near a bridge between Waynesville and Dixon. The official cause of death has not been determined.
