Cardinals and Royals tie I-70 series
ST. LOUIS - Kansas City and St. Louis both walked away with wins in the annual I-70 series on Wednesday.
Kansas City won the first game of the day-night double-header, 8-2. Brad Keller's seven-plus innings of two-hit baseball, along with Jorge Soler's three-run home run led the Royals to the game one victory.
But, the Cardinals found redemption in the nightcap, winning 10-3. Both Missouri teams end up with lopsided victories.
Kansas City and St. Louis will meet again at Kauffman Stadium in August for an I-70 rematch.
