Cardinals are shutout as Braves take Game 2
ATLANTA - The Cardinals stayed in Atlanta for Game 2 of the NLDS against the Braves to hopefully extend their series lead after barely winning Game 1 last night.
Jack Flaherty pitched for the Cardinals for seven innings, having eight strikeouts, a walk, and allowing eight hits.
But a single in the bottom of the 1st inning by Josh Donaldson and a 2-run homer in the bottom of 7th by Adam Duvall would give the 3-0 lead to the Braves.
St. Louis would only have six hits on the day, most of them coming at the end of the game, but they would not be enough to drive in a run as Atlanta wins 3-0 to tie the series 1-1.
St. Louis will travel back home to play Atlanta on Sunday for Game 3 of the NLDS
