Cards win big against Brewers
St. Louis- The Cardinals exploded in the sixth and seventh innings to defeat the Brewers 9-4. This makes back to back wins for St. Louis against Milwaukee in this three game series. Game two started similarly to game one with both teams going scoreless until the fourth. After an RBI single for Yadier Molina put St. Louis up 1-0, The Crew responded by driving in two runs of their own in the top of the 6th. It was the bottom of the sixth, and seventh innings however, where the game turned in favor of St. Louis. A three RBI double for Dexter Fowler began the barrage of the Brewers defense, one more run was also scored in the sixith. Another four run seventh inning followed as the Cardinals blew the game wide open, making the score 9-2 by the end of the seventh. Milwaukee managed to salvage two more runs with the score finishing 9-4 Cardinals.
On the mound, Jeremy Jeffress took the loss for The Crew with Tyler Webb getting the win for St. Louis.
