Central Methodist football signing day makes history
FAYETTE - Central Methodist University had nearly all of its 2015 football recruiting class on campus Wednesday to sign their letters of intent.
All but two of the Eagles' 28 signees were on hand for the National Signing Day ceremony. The event was broadcasted online, which CMU says is the first time a school has ever had its recruits sign together. Also on hand was CMU Head Coach Jody Ford, the players' family members and old coaches.
Twenty-six members of this class for CMU are Missouri residents, with one player from Nebraska and one from Florida. The class consists of 12 offensive players, 13 defensive players and two special team players.
