CEO of St. John's Hospital in Joplin Recalls Last Year's Tornado
JOPLIN - KOMU 8's Jim Riek and Michelle Bogowith talked with the CEO of St. John's Hospital on the one year anniversary of the deadly tornado that swept through the town.
Gary Pulsipher told KOMU 8 most of the buildings of the destroyed St. John's Hospital are now torn down. He said in September 2012 the entire demolition process will be complete.
Pulsipher said a new facility will be completed in about three years. The hospital is currently operating in a transitional hospital facility.
