Charges filed in fatal shooting of St. Charles County teen
ST. LOUIS (AP) — A St. Louis man is charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action and robbery in the death of a St. Charles County teenager.
Authorities announced charges Monday against 24-year-old Jamar Mack. He is jailed on $500,000 cash-only bond and does not yet have an attorney.
Nineteen-year-old Sean Engle was found unconscious Thursday night after crashing a car. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say Engle was shot in the face and the side in a dispute with Mack, an acquaintance. Engle tried to drive away before crashing.
