Chiefs land defensive end Frank Clark from Seattle
KANSAS CITY - Tuesday, the Seattle Seahawks decided it was time to make a change.
Frank Clark, a 6-foot-3, 265 pound defensive end has played in Seattle for the past four seasons and is heading to play in Kansas City. The trade sends Clark to the Chiefs in exchange for a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, a 2020 second-round pick and a swap of third-round picks in 2019. Per the NFL Network, the deal is a five-year contract worth $105.5 million with $63.5 million guaranteed.
With the addition of Clark, the Chiefs are able to fill the edge with one of the league’s top rushers. In 2018, Clark tallied a career-high 13 sacks.
