CMU Softball Earns Highest Ranking in Program History

FAYETTE - The Central Methodist University women's softball team is out to the best start in the program's history.

The Eagles are 28-5 and have won six games in a row for head coach Pat Reardon. 

Central Methodist has moved from 17th to 16th in the latest NAIA softball rankings. The 16th ranking is the highest in the program's history.

The team has defeated Auburn Montgomery and William Woods University who were both in the top 25 in the NAIA at the time of the games.

Central Methodist will take on Southwest Baptist Thursday in a doubleheader.
