COLE COUNTY - The Cole County Sheriff's Department said it is investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday night.
Chief Deputy John Wheeler said one person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening wounds.
The sheriff's department said the victim is not cooperating, so authorities don't really know where the incident happened.
The victim was originally taken to the Capital Region Medical Center, but was then transferred to MU Hospital's Trauma Center.
