College of Education dean to leave MU
COLUMBIA - In a letter to faculty and staff on Monday, MU Interim Chancellor Hank Foley said Daniel Clay, dean of the College of Education, will leave his position at the university.
Clay began his tenure as dean of the College of Education in 2010. Foley's letter said Clay will become the new dean of the College of Education at the University of Iowa.
During the 2015-2016 academic year, public records indicate that Clay's salary was $247,851.
Clay earned his masters in educational and counseling psychology and PhD from MU. He recently completed the MBA program at MU's Trulaske College of Business in 2015.
In November, Clay was one of the nine deans who signed a letter calling for the removal of former MU Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin.
