Columbia City Council to vote on funds for CPD downtown building
Funds from Police Records Management System Capital Improvement Project might be used for remodeling on the Columbia Police Department downtown building. Columbia City Council is set to hear the proposal Monday, April 1.
The ordinance is requesting the reallocation of $10,708.43 from the budget for the plan. According to a city memo, the money would go to fixing gas line piping issues, additional floor preparation and electrical and wall patching items that were identified as the project neared competition.
The council said there is a sufficient funding available in Police Records Management System Capital Improvement Project to cover these improvements.
The plan will be up for a vote at the Columbia City Council's April 1 meeting. The meeting will start at 7 p.m.
