Columbia College Volleyball Improves to 29-1 on Season
COLUMBIA -- After continuing their winning ways last week the Cougar volleyball team remained in the third spot in the Tachikara-NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll. The Cougars are 29-1 on the season and pulled in 582 points in this week's poll.
The top 11 spots from last week's poll remained the same, with Texas at Brownsville holding the top spot with 21 first place votes and a mark of 20-0. Concordia (Calif.) University is ranked second with one first place nod and Biola (Calif.) University and Lee (Tenn.) University round out the top five.
AMC opponent Missouri Baptist University moved up two spots to No. 13 this week. The Spartans are 28-2 on the season with their only two losses coming at the hands of the Cougars, including a 3-1 win over the Spartans last night.
Columbia hosts Grand View (Iowa) College on Friday, October 26th for a 5 p.m. match up in the Arena of Southwell Complex.
