Columbia HOG Rally Wraps Up
COLUMBIA - The roar of more than 1,000 Harley engines around town signaled the final day of the Missouri State Harley Owner's Group (HOG) Rally.
The 18th annual two-day event is made up of local rides and competitions, like who can ride the slowest without putting their feet down, or catching a water balloon on the move.
Brad Sabol, the rally's coordinator, says the event is about more than just the fun and games.
"The Harley owners group is the biggest family that you never knew. The camaraderie of Harley owners, we have that one bonding factor and that's our Harley motorcycles. It's just the camaraderie and friendship out of it," Sabol said.
It took between 100 and 125 volunteers to put on the rally.
