Columbia Man's Meth Arrest Second in Seven Months
COLUMBIA - Columbia police arrested 40-year-old Timothy M. Hyde, of Columbia, early Friday morning for allegedly possessing paraphernalia and methamphetamine with the intent to distribute.
This marks Hyde's fourth arrest, and second for meth possession, just this year, as he was arrested and charged for possession meth in a Columbia hotel room in March, theft in July and driving with a revoked or suspended license on October 8.
The intent to distribute charge is a class B felony, and carries a $25,000 bond, along with the $4,500 bond for the paraphernalia charge.
Hyde was also ticketed in Audrain Co. in August for exceeding the speed limit by 20-25 mph.
