Columbia Not Showing Age
"I think it's getting younger," said MU senior Kory Drury. "Based on the places I've been, it seems like there's still a lot of young people in Columbia."
One reason for Columbia's more youthful population could be because the city helps college graduates feel comfortable.
"Basically, people like what they're familiar with," explained sociologist Candace Korasick. "And if you consider that people who've come here to come to college, have come of age here and they're familiar with this, they've kind of become adults here. So they're familiar with being an adult here. I think they like it."
