Columbia Police Investigate Walmart Robbery

COLUMBIA - The Columbia Police Department is looking for suspects after a robbery at Walmart on Saturday. 

Officers responded to reports of a robbery at the Walmart Super Center on Conley Road about 1:30 a.m. Saturday morning.

An investigation revealed a black male wearing all red entered the store and told an employee to open one of the cash registers. The suspect did not have a visible weapon, but implied that he was carrying one. He took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene in a silver vehicle.

No injuries were reported during the robbery.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police ask anyone with information about the suspect in this robbery to please contact the Columbia Police Department or Crime Stoppers at (573)875-TIPS to remain anonymous.
