Columbia Police respond to shots fired

COLUMBIA - Columbia Police officers responded to a shots fired call in northern Columbia early Wednesday morning.

Public Safety Joint Communications confirmed 11 units were in the area of Ash Street and Sanford Avenue just before 2 a.m. The Columbia Police Department first received the call at 1:30 a.m. 

KOMU 8 will continue to monitor the situation and share its developments as information becomes available.
