Columbia Prepares for National Biker Roundup
Less than 24 hours after the completion of the Boone County fair, the fairgrounds began to prepare for another big event.
Beginning Tuesday, Columbia can expect more than 30,000 visitors for the National Biker Roundup.
Motorcyclists from across the country will gather in Columbia for the event which runs through august 8th.
With the big number of bikers coming to mid-Missouri, Colombians can definitely expect traffic to pick up.
"It's going to be a very day for the community, very lucrative for the community, very positive, and yes very busy, it's going to bring a lot of people to town, a lot of money," roundup attendee, Derrick Davis.
