Construction for new campus quad at Columbia College to begin soon
COLUMBIA - The construction for a new campus quadrangle at Columbia College will begin in February.
The "Quad Initiative" was approved by the Columbia College Board of Trustees at the January meeting.
The new campus quad will be located in the middle of campus behind St. Clair Hall and will span from Southwell Complex all the way to Dulaney Hall. It will have an amphitheater for holding classes, a covered dining area and a new campus safety office.
If interested, people can also buy an engraved brick that can be personalized through the college to support the project.
To learn more about the Quad Initiative, you can attend the "Columbia Briefing Breakfast" on the Columbia College campus on March 22.
