Cougar Softball Adds Amber Boehme
COLUMBIA -- Head Columbia College softball coach Wendy Spratt officially announced the signing of Amber Boehme to a Letter of Intent on Friday.
The Wentzville, Missouri native just finished up her career at Holt High School and will join the Cougars this fall as a freshman pitcher. Amber helped her squad to a Class 4 district championship in 2008 and accounted for 20 of her teams 21 wins last season, totaling 166 strikeouts. As a senior Boehme was named to the all-region and all-metro teams and is a three time all-district and all-conference member.
"Amber is a very talented pitcher who will add depth to the cougar pitching staff," said Spratt. "We are very excited to watch her begin a successful collegiate career this year."
