CPD investigating armed robbery at Clovers

COLUMBIA - The Columbia Police Department is investigating an armed robbery at Clovers Natural Market that happened Friday night.

According to CPD, an investigation revealed a man demanded money from the business, located at 2100 Chapel Plaza court, using a firearm. The man then fled in a red van after gettting the money.

No injuries or property damage were reported.

CPD reported the suspect is a male in his early 20s and approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was last seen in a dark colored sweatshirt and athletic pants.

The investigation is ongoing and CPD urges that anyone with information regarding the robbery to contact the CPD or CrimeStoppers at (573) 875-TIPS to remain anonymous.
