Delayed Plowing Toll

"Last night whenever I got back from school I notice they just started cleaning and it was already dark," said Dana Lackey, a Campus Lodge resident.

Although she is glad they're finally starting to see pavement again, the long wait was a big inconvinience.

"I couldn't use my car from Thursday night until today," Lackey said.

Management at Campus Lodge said the snow situation got much more difficult to deal with once the snow converted to ice. They hired DG Excavating to plow the parking lots.

Drew Graff is the owner of DG Excavating. He says he has been pushing snow for 5 days with very little sleep.

"We did the Columbia Mall, we did Broadway Apartments, Broadway Bluffs and a lot of the carwashers around town," said Graff.

He's been plowing the Campus Lodge parking lots since 5 am on Tuesday morning, and while the amount of work is good for business, he still has a lot more to do.

"We will be here for another 4 hours and hopefully we will go across the street and take care of another apartment complex," Graff said.

Just one more stop on a long list of other roads and parking lots.
