Deputies arrest two in Osage County for meth possession
FREEBERG - Osage County Sheriff's Office arrested two people Wednesday for meth possession.
Vienna resident Sammi Shockley, 40, and Linn resident Nathan Wilson, 30, were stopped Sunday by an Osage County Sheriff K-9 Unit. According to the Osage County Sheriff's Office, the dog alerted deputies of narcotics.
After searching the vehicle, deputies found a small bag of suspected crystal methamphetamine inside a cup of soda. Deputies said they think the pair tried to conceal or discard the meth to avoid arrest.
Shockley and Wilson face multiple charges, including posession of a controlled substance, posession of up to 35 grams of marijuana and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
Shockley was out on bond for a March 2015 arrest on drug-related charges in Maries County. Her bond was revoked Wednesday.
The pair was being held in Osage County Jail, each with a $25,000 bond.
