Driver Found Dead in Accident, Cause Unknown
JEFFERSON CITY - Police officers responded to a report of a crashed vehicle at Wears Creek to the rear of the Ice Arena Thursday morning to find a man dead.
Officials found a gold-colored Mazda Tribute partially submerged in the creek. The driver, 46-year-old Bradley Hall of Jefferson City, was found seated in the driver's seat, but lying across the center console into the passenger's seat.
According to a media release by the Jefferson City Police Department, the driver's medical history leads officials to believe that the death of the passenger might have happened before the vehicle entered the creek.
An autopsy has been ordered. The cause of death is currently unknown.
