In one search, an officer needed to use his Taser gun to stop a man who resisted arrest.

Police raided two homes that appeared to be working together to sell marijuana and cocaine. Twelve pounds of marijuana, 15 grams of powder cocaine and 35 ecstasy tablets were taken between the two homes.

Officers arrested 20-year-old Mark Stokes Breeding and 22-year-old Charles Ray Boose at 4403 Cheryl Court. Breeding was released on the scene with a summons to court for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Boose was charged with Misdemeanor Possession of Marijuana and Distribution/Manufacturing Ecstasy.

In the other home at 5007 Carrieridge, officers faced resistance from 22-year-old Brandon Scott Painter. A Taser was used to subdue him. He was charged with Felony Resisting Arrest and three counts of Distribution/Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance. Also arrested at the location was Kenneth R. Williams, 22, who was later charged with Distribution/Manufacturing Marijuana and Kenneth E. Williams, 61, who was charged with Misdemeanor Possession Marijuana and Distribution/Manufacturing Ecstasy. Seth Naumann, 20, was arrested at Carrieridge and charged with Felony Possession of Marijuana.

In a separate raid at 1907 Arlene Drive, police arrested two people and are looking for one more. Alexander Martin, 19, was arrested and charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Misdemeanor Marijuana Possession. Kurt Heine, 19, was released at the scene with a summons to court for possession of marijuana.

Columbia Police say they found a marijuana growing operation with four plants at the Arlene house. The plants were in a closet with lights, fertilizer and soil. Police also found drug paraphernalia, books on how to grow marijuana and one gram of cocaine and LSD.

Police are seeking a warrant for Matthew Evans, 19, in connection with the Arlene raid. He is wanted for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Distribution/Manufacturing of a Controlled Substance.
